Tom Cruise in Queenstown

Did you know Tom Cruise flew his own Helicopter, while Acting & being Filmed amongst our mountains? Filming Mission Impossible 6 in June 2017, -3 temperatures didn't slow him down! The degree of difficulty & the realism it brings is mind-blowing! Cruise went to Airbus to learn how to be a helicopter pilot, racking up his 2000-hour flight time in a very short amount of time. Cruise is already a pilot of planes, but when you consider that the end result is Tom Cruise piloting a helicopter with no one else in it, doing ridiculous aerial stunts all by himself, it’s pretty insane!
