BLESS THIS HOUSE Chief Kewene Te Haho does! As the Resident Kaitiaki ~ Guardian at Jewel On Speargrass​. Protecting & looking after the environment from the the sky, the lakes, and the land we have gratitude always for his kaitiakitanga.  Born around 1813 & reputed to be nearly 90 at his death he was painted by Gottfried Lindauer New Zealand's leading painter of Māori in the 19th century.  After a very long journey he made his way to Jewel but that's another story...
